To be honest, I'm a fan of fun stats and streaks like that. It was mentioned last year and its just one of those strange things. Ole Miss doesn't play that many games on grass, and when they do, they are road SEC games which has more to do with it than grass.

Not playing a road game since October 5 is a bigger deal in my opinion. But its all in good fun - I don't let what a bunch of 18-22 year olds do affect my life. Way more important things, but its fun to get a rise out of a few of the hardcore fans.

But if State wins, the grass thing is going to itch at a few of them

Have a good Thanksgiving, WhistlinDixie15.

So what happened to your prediction made prior to last weekend that A&M would win one of its two remaining games?

Outside of the Murray injury I haven't kept up with Georgia and definitely not with GT. Is Gurley back in prime condition? How's Georgia's backup QB? I guess I could see them winning it, I'm just not sure.

1. UGA without Aaron Murray
2. UGA's defense against the triple option.

Oh I get the reasoning, it's mine too. Just figured people would discredit Tech and assume UGA could get by without Murray.

To be honest, although I think Tech should have a good shot, I won't be at all surprised if they squander the opportunity. They're a frail bunch, it's sad what has happened to that program.
