Seriously, Ray Rice and..... who else? Taking a peak at LINK, only 8 of their active players have been starters in the NFL.

On Iowa and California success in producing NFL players, I recommend reading this.

Yeah, sorry. I know it is an Iowa love fest. But pulling that much data together to compare recruiting rankings to NFL players drafted is a nice piece of work.

It's probably due to my geographic bias, but I wasn't surprised by Rutgers. Anyone from the New York metro area who follows college football remembers that Rutgers was great a few years ago during the era of Greg Schiano, Ray Rice, Kenny Britt, and Tiquan Underwood.

I didn't regret it, it's actually pretty interesting if you just look at the graphs and ignore the commentary. It kind of confirmed some things I already thought though.

Schiano is a terrible NFL coach, but he did do a good job coaching up some talent at Rutgers. I loved Ray Rice back in the day

9 outta 25 are SEC. Not represented from the SEC are Vandy (13), Miss State (18), Ole Miss (23), Kentucky (16) and the mizzerites (23).

36% are SEC programs.

I can't imagine picking Cal over Stanford. Having been to both places and mingled with both groups, Stanford has a relatively "normal" student body. Everyone at Cal is a fricking pothead tree hugger that enjoys the smell of their own farts. Both places are liberal but Cal-Berkley is full of fricking weirdos.

Most accurate post in the history of the rant.

Thought bama would be higher but that is up to the nfl scouts and GMs ultimately. This will hurt their recruiting

Cal being so high surprises me. Rutgers/Iowa also surprise me in the fact they're Top 25.
