Jumped in the stands to sway w/the students. Looked like he was holding back tears.

I was hoping that he hadn't decided, but after watching the last minute or so of the game and the post-game, he's gone. At least I've got tickets to see him at Missouri.

Been a great couple years. He's the best player we will ever see wear an Ag uni. And based on what he did after the game he loves the school much more than most believe

going into the day I thought there might be the slightest of chances he would stay b/c I know not everyone around him wants him to leave yet.

but yea, the salute and the Lambeau Leap sealed it.

It just sucks knowing that we will almost certainly never see another player that transcendent play at Kyle Field again.

It's kinda weird in a way. I guess this is what it must have felt like for Yankees fans who watched the Babe or Bulls fans who watched Jordan. This is a guy we'll be telling our kids about 20 years from now. We'll talk about the time JFF did this or that and how the current QBs compare to him. 60 years from now when (God willing) I'm dragging my 85 year old arse into Kyle I'll still be talking about his exploits.

I had been holding out a thread of hope that he would stay.

I kept ignoring the signs but when he jumped into the stands, I knew.

And I was okay with it.

The young man is a baller and I have no further doubt that he loves that place. I can't recall any player jumping into the stands.

I wish the guy nothing but the best and I hope I'm wrong about him at the next level.

Not so fast my friend...

I think if he drops the last games it would do real damage to his stock position. Think of all the other SEC QB's that are gone after this season and how many new shoes will be filled in 2014. While I say he gone = high percentage, the smart move is to come back if he is not at the very top. The big issue is what linemen and what receivers are gone more than anything.

The one thing for sure is Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt have no more eligibility as all are Seniors. JFF would have a real shot at redemption next year if TAMU drops their last games.

Thompson (South Carolina) is a junior
Mauk (Missouri) is a freshman
Marshall (Auburn) is a junior

I say we win these next 2 games, BTHO either a Big 10 or 12 team, then let it ride

Eta- I have faith that we will be ok next year no matter what. The defense can only get better and our offense will still be elite

I never thought I would say this, but I'm glad to see Steven Jenkins leaving. His "tackling" style is as bad as Devante Harris' ability to tackle or fight off blocks.
