Coach Malzahn on the Anthony Swain situation: "I could see why people questioned it. I've coached for 23 years and I've never told a player to fake an injury. ... I promise you this, moving forward there will be no questionable issues like that again."

What'd you expect him to say? He was griping about other teams faking injuries, then he gets busted for it, blared repeatedly across the land on national tv. He's just mad because he'll never be able to bitch about other teams faking injuries because people will laugh in his face if he does.

Sooooo...he was faking the injury?

Oh, and he didn't address the question of an assistant coach telling him to fake an injury? Sounds like Obama. Obama is clueless on what's going on in the government.

If I say I don't condone something and one of my men does it I will drop the fricking hammer on him. It takes balls to do that.

This probably would be the first time a coach has ever been a hypocrite.

all bullshite aside, i still don't see what advantage we gained. Should have limped off, but you play within the loopholes, limp off play short, fall down get a sub.

I was pretty confident we had that one under control so i had stopped paying super close attention to the game...wasn't it right up against the quarter and arky in a huddle?

no it doesn't, it take an "auburn" fan you loves to suck up to opposing fanbases.

No coach told him to do it. He thought quickly and I was impressed with what he did. This is further proof that this staff is building smart players.
