1. Miracle on Ice (1980)
Nobody would've thought this group of American college players could take down the mighty Soviet team, but thats exactly whay they did en route to Olympic gold.
2. South Carolina over Mizzou (2013)
In their virtual national title game, the gamecocks played spoiler and knocked off their undefeated division foe ending their actual national title hopes. Cock fans just cant stop talking about this game that is widely billed as the greatest win in the programs history.
3. Appalachian State defeats Michigan (2007)
The defending FCS champion mountaineers defeated the mighty Michigan Wolverines with a last second field goal block. Long considered the greatest college football upset of all-time, until the South Carolina victory in 2013.
4. Buster Douglas takes down Tyson (1990)
Considered to be on his way to being the greatest boxer ever, Mike Tyson was stunned by a virtual no name and Buster Douglas became heavyweight champion of the world. Though he never quite lived up to his potential, Mike Tyson is still one of the most talked about athletes of all-time due to his antics in and out of the ring.
