Sadly our time with the best quarterback to play for A&M will most likely (definitely) come to an end very soon. We should all enjoy his time here, but how do we move on past him.
I'm not ready to grieve or whine, I want to continue winning. To do that should we have another dual threat QB or more of a pro-style? Do we have faith in Hill, or go with the new style to fit our high powered passing attack?

At this point I will trust whoever Sumlin chooses. He has a pretty damn good track record. Can't really judge Kyle Allen, but I prefer Hill over Joeckel.

Offensively we will go from arguable the best (top 3 for sure) to just very good. I think Hill or Allen will lead the way. Sorry, Matt. I think 47-48 ppg will turn to about low 41-42. After all we still have a stable if backs and will still have a very strong OL. WR and QB take a step back but will not be weaknesses. Defensively we can only get better. We all see talent coming in. All the young guys get another year with Black Death. I say 8-9 wins in the regular season.

We are going to the triple option with a vertical passing element that's never been seen before.

Hopefully our defense improves to the point where the offense doesnt need 50 for us to win. In 2012, A&M beat bama only scoring 29 and Ole Miss with 30. If the the defense improves a lot our offense could regress and we still end up having a better season.

First choice is we go with an option based offense and convert Kyle Allen to an option QB ala McGee.

In all seriousness though it is going to be a Hill/Allen battle and I personally think the offensive dropoff will be less than most people think. Baylor didn't drop off without RGIII and Oregon just keeps trucking no matter the QB. A&M certainly has that level of offense, though some of the style may change.

I do like a more mobile QB but don't think we need to have someone do a JFF imitation.

I don't think we've seen Hill take a designed run yet, that has me curious. His build seems a lot more solid than Johnny.
