Any list that doesn't involve David Shaw, Bill O'Brien, or Art Briles is extremely weak.

Chris Peterson is 89-11 at BSU. Your forgot him.

People have listed bill o'brien but haven't discussed it. After a fire sale and coming into a total morale disaster, he wins 8 games. With a team that probably is only capable of winning 6. Now he's on track for the same this season.
He has succeeded at what has simply been the most difficult job in college football. He should be top 10.

2007, including this year to date....
Miles 69-19
Saban 70-13 (75-13 if we count the 5 games vacated in 2007)

I think Kliff Kingsbury is going to be one of the better coaches in the country. Too early to tell but he seems to really relate to his players (helps in recruiting) and runs a high energy program. His teams are fun to watch. Plus, he is home so it's unlikely he would leave and should build a strong program.

Any list that does not have SOS in the top 10 is whack. Not even biased.

Hmmm...there's a name missing from this list.
Currently active HC with more career wins, a higher winning percentage, and more Top 10 poll finishes than half the coaches listed...went undefeated for an entire season, (including a bowl win) at a BCS school, a feat accomplished by only three or four of these...former Walter Camp/Paul Bryant National COTY winner...produced multiple first round NFL picks...
And yet, merits not a mention by any Rantard over five pages, til now...
