Note: Recruiting IS factored in, as it is a major part of coaching. Otherwise Mark Richt would be lower, and Bill Snyder would be higher.

1) Nick Saban - Alabama
2) Urban Meyer - Ohio State
3) Les Miles - LSU
4) Jimbo Fisher - FSU
5) Bret Beilema - Arkansas (before anyone freaks out, he went to 3 straight Rose bowls with Wisconsin, though 1 was due to Ohio State and Penn State ineligibilities, and I believe he went like 4 years or so without losing a game by double digits)
This is where it gets tricky:
6) Kevin Sumlin - Texas A&M
7) Bill Snyder - Kansas State
8) Mark Richt - Georgia
9) Brady Hoke - Michigan
10) Bob Stoops - Oklahoma

Honorable mention:
Steve Spurrier - South Carolina
Mike Gundy - Oklahoma State
Art Briles - Baylor
Will Muschamp - Florida

On the rise, but not enough body of work yet:
Gus Malzahn - Auburn
Mark Helfrich - Oregon

.. Yes, he went to 3 straight rose bowls and lost every one of them.

Have you watched Arkansas?

Hoke and Beliema are laughable. Briles needs to be in the top 10.

Is this over time or just this year? Pinkell has a very legitimate chance of going 12-0...with a 2nd string freshman QB.

You all keep ripping beilema because he is doing terrible with guys in his first year. Did you know Saban went I believe 6-6 in regular season in his first year at bama? Generally (yes, there are exceptions) it takes a coach a bit to get his system implemented

You have to put Petrino on here even though he is a shitty recruiter.
