There is always that chance, however slim!

That Utah game was part of the process.
Saban purposely blew that game to help create what Bama has become today.

The 2008 team was a pretty pedestrian team that was carried by Andre Smith and a great offensive line. When I first heard about Smith's suspension, I knew Bama was in trouble. Andre Smith had also missed the Tulane game earlier that year. In that game, Bama gained less than 200 yards and needed two special teams touchdowns to beat a Tulane team that finished the year 2-10. Andre Smith literally had a Peyton Manning-like influence on that team. They probably would have finished third or fourth in the SEC West that year without him. That's how important he was to that team.

That Bama team actually overachieved to get where it was. Gotta remember that it was only Saban's 2nd year, when he was still accumulating the right talent and developing/teaching players his system. There's really no comparison here.

Are they playing each other in the Chicken bowl? Don't think Bama can make it to Atlanta after a loss to end the regular season.

Nobody gave a shite about that game. Saban took heat for criticizing the fans for lack of support, but he was right. We didn't care. Tebow had broke our spirit. We had it back by A Day and the rest is history.
Reckon Arkansas will ever have the chance to Utah somebody?

Mike Johnson missed that Utah game also with an injury , he was first team A-A in 2009.

They're not going 13-0. They're not "Utah-ing" Bama in Atlanta.

Catholic Saban was originally gonna destroy the Mormons. So they paid him indulgences under the table before and after the game so he would, in effect, forgive them for their sins against the Bama nation. A necessary trade off for the machine that is Bama.

Gotta get there first. Mizzou fans know first hand not to ever settle on the status quo.
But yes, Mizzou will UTAH Bama. Biggest win in MU's history and half of Greektown will be burned to the ground.

Hi, I've noticed that you've never really been here before now.
Can you please redo that. You know, the whole not being here thing.
