And that scares the shite out of me.

I would take Saban with several weeks to prepare over any college team.

Nah, we'd just deflect their game winning pass on the last play. We've got it covered.

Dumb comment. They play in the ACC and defeated an overhyped Clemson. They play nobodies and at the end of the season will be nobodies.

In the middle of a season, sure. In January, no.

Here we again. (Insert team name) could beat Bama

No not any team. Not some arbitrary comment. I think bama will take down Oregon if it comes to that, but IMO fsu would beat them.

ACC > Pac-12

PAC 12 > SEC > ACC

Don't you remember last time what happened when an ACC team was supposed to clobber Bama?

Come on man I was being rational, stop that shite

Also trying to make a fricking duck look mean and badass is probably the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. Y'all could be the koala bears or the butterflies and it'd be more intimidating than a duck lol

How many passing yards did Washington State put on Oregon?

Oh look. It's one of these threads again.

That Winston kid is shinin', ya'll.

FSU would at this moment. In the championship? frick no.
Texas, LSU, Notre Dame.
37-21
21-0
42-14
The scores just weren't even close and the greatest testament to preparation ends up being the LSU game. Alabama loses to them just a couple months before AT HOME, gets a month to prepare, and wipes the floor with them.
FSU will show off more and more of how they play and Saban will make adjustments to Winston with more success than FSU will make adjustments to Bama.
At this point, when/if this team gets to the championship, they will be unbeatable with the experience of the coaching staff and the players at preparing for ONE team.

FSU is clearly the second best team in the country right now, with Oregon a distant third, but I think the game between Bama and FSU would be competitive throughout. They'd slam the Ducks, sure, but it's hard to say definitively which one would win between them.

quote:A homer statement. Who does FSU play again? Bama would slam them just as hard as FSU slammed Clemson. Oregon has took its licks and is consistently one of the best programs in the nation. No other team is more deserving of a shot to take down Bama than Oregon. Name one other that is.

I think FSU would probably be the best test Alabama has had in a NC game. That's assuming they continue to play the way they've been playing. Shutting down that Clemson offense the way they did was pretty impressive, regardless how what the conference homers want to think. I also think Jimbo being a Saban disciple would be very interesting to see. You have to think that does give him a slight advantage over previous coaches Saban has played in title games.
