Florida will have 2 SEC losses.
Tennessee already has 2 SEC losses.
Carolina now has 2 SEC losses.
Kentucky already has 2 SEC losses.
Georgia now has 2 SEC losses.
Vandy has 3 losses.
It's all tied up except for Mizz who is still undefeated.
We need them to lose 3 SEC games and we'll take the East by winning out.
Mizz still has to play:
South Carolina
Tennessee (actually beat Carolina today and played us tough)
Ole Miss
Kentucky
Texas AnM
Mizz can easily lose 3 of those.
And on the bright side..... even if we don't win the East, we will finally be in a position to start firing people. If you win the East, noone gets fired, no matter how much they deserve it.
Any other thoughts?

Mizzou will win the east because the east is way down this year.
We won't win out because we have no play makers on offense and our defense isn't improving enough to win games for us.

No way in hell do we win out with our SEC schedule, we'll be lucky to split the AU and UF games, I wouldn't be surprised if we just folded in and let Kentucky stomp our shite in. frick this team

They are good, but they played no one for almost the entire first half of the season, so they haven't been beaten down by their schedule. They played a tattered UGA team with no defense and then a beat up Florida team.

That's right. The TN game was really the tipping point for the season.
The entire season was based around the strength of our offense. With injuries to the guys who can run and catch the ball, our offense disappeared overnight. Our defense continues to suck, so we went from the top team in east to being beaten by Vandy.
Amazing how quickly a season can turn with one game.

^ This. We are not going to win out with all the injuries we've had. Wonder where we'd be if all scholly's had been awarded and we had some depth on the bench?

So 3 losses, 5 games to go. Best case scenario? 9-3 and Chick-fil-A Bowl.
Worst case, players just dial it in, we lose two or three more, go to a really bad bowl game. But maybe that throws enough weight behind the Fire Grantham movement....
