Honest (non flame) question for Ole Miss fans

Last March the general consensus amongst many of you was that LSU football was in an imminent decline and that going forward Ole Miss (under Freeze) was going to compete for the west in the near future. Now with a losing record in conference, and LSU squarely in contention both in in the West and BCS races I've got to ask if you're still convinced? With LSU's and Bama's 2014 class prepared to finish in the top 3 and your's nowhere near as strong as last year's, do you still feel as assured about Freeze leading you into the Western upper echelon? From the outside looking in it seems alot like just another Ole Miss delusional fad such as..
1- "O" the coach
2- Brent Schaffer the Savior
3- Snead for Heisman
4- Houston "Nutt" rags
Why should we believe that Freeze is any different. 3 straight conference losses seems alot like the same Ole Miss to me?

Ole miss will always be the 6 win, maybe 7 if they are lucky, football team. Yes, they may have one decent season with 8 or 9 wins once a decade, but that is not the norm. Let's all be real, I think 7 wins is great for an Ole Miss and Miss State.

Things will get better once he hires Leigh Ann Touhy as his offensive coordinator. He is where he is today because of her. I know this for a fact as I saw the movie

It's kind of like saying "no-homo"
Not a flame but Ole Miss was vastly overrated coming in to this year and their fans who believed their program would overtake LSU were deluding themselves. Not a flame though.

All the Ole Miss guys I know are metrosexual, status-obsessed, social climbers that fancy themselves Southern Gentry but are really buggering one another on the side. I would never attempt to flame them.

Ole Miss will compete for 3rd or 4th place in the SEC West the next 4 years. i would say thats a huge improvement for them

Ole Piss might pull a good season ought of their arse every 6 or 7 years.
but that's it. that's all they have to look forward to. sad. isn't it.

Once JFF is gone I see aTm falling to the basement

we might not be in the running for the west every year (behind LSU and Bama), but one thing is certain.
A&M will always be a better football team. Not to mention the superiority of our institution as a whole.

Still rebuilding, still have too many of Nutts players, give it a few more recruiting classes, etc, etc

The only reason A&M is relevant is JFF. Once he's gone Sumlin will jump ship and resurrect Texas, USC or some other high profile program

I thought this was going to be the case. I really thought lsu was looking at 8-4 this year. (Possible losses from UGA, UF, OM, A&M, or Bama)
But they have complete surprised me this year. BUT that being said I still see 8-4 with losses from same potentials.
