but this was about corners
Ehh, overlooked that...

If we're talking about the whole secondary, LSU's was better than this Florida group. However, if we're talking about cornerbacks only, I'll take Florida's group.

over Claiborne and Peterson? I wouldn't. You're talking about the back-to-back Thorpe winners starting on either side of one another. Florida can't match that this year, regardless of how good they may be. Not that this isn't a troll/bait thread to begin with

The 2010 LSU secondary featured 5 CBs that played a lot of snaps that are currently on NFL 53 man rosters, all of them were drafted, and they won 2 Thorpes, and 2 Bednariks.

in 2010 LSU's 5 deep was

Patrick Peterson (Unanimous 2010 1st Team All American, 2010 SEC Defensive Player of the year, future 1st rounder, 2010 Thorpe and Bednarik award winner)
Mo Claiborne (2010 2nd Team All SEC, 2011 Uninimous 1st team All American, 2011 1st Team SEC, future 1st rounder, 2011 Thorpe Award Winner)
Tyrann Matthieu (2010 All SEC Freshmen Team, 2011 Unanimous 1st Team all American, Future draft pick, 2011 Bednarik award winner, Heisman Finalist)
Ron Brooks (Future Draft Pick)
Tharold Simon (future Draft Pick)

None went lower than 4th round.

LSU had two Thorpe winners, a Heisman finalist, two biletnkoff winners, 2 1st round picks, 3 3rd picks. We all know if not for his off the field issues that Mathieu was/is deserving of a 1st round paycheck. When Mathieu was out for the AU game brooks made the Tiger's his bitch.

Would you still take the FL group?
