Not shite. Supposedly we gained some ground on a DL or two with the OM game, so we'll see. But at this point, the D will hinge on them staying healthy.

Bradley and Owens have played well this year. Whitaker and Blackson are good for depth. That is a strong DL set up for next season.
ETA: Justin Delaine has played a decent DE at times as well.

They're good for taking up a block. I haven't ever seen anything out of them to get excited about.
Now Bradley and Owens have played pretty well. I'm just let down with Owens, I was expecting a lot out of him.
I'm just saying these guys more than likely won't come into the game and change it too much.

I haven't re-watched the game yet.. I've got it on DVR, so I'll check him out. It's hard for me to keep up with everyone the 1st time around.

Here's a fun thought, at one point this past recruiting cycle OM was in contention for Chris Jones and was thought to lead for Elijah Daniel. Imagine that line now and in the future.

quote:I think the world of Angelo Blackson. He played linebacker in high school a lot, which speaks about his athleticism. Jeff Whitaker, I have no hope for him...and him tearing his knee up doesn't better his chances of ever making an impact. He will provide some leadership, but may slip to around 3rd string when he gets back on the field.
Whitaker and Blackson are good for depth.
