I think he's slowing putting out the embers of our favorite SEC East dumpster fire.

If by putting out the embers you mean dumping gasoline on it, then yes.

Dooley left shite in a mess. If he holds this class together and continues close to the same level UT will be fine.

Dooley was Karma saying hello.
I still love watching the In-breeders on the ridge get their arse handed to them. Can't wait to see Vandy do it again this year.

I have to admit it's difficult watching UT struggle. My mom loves Tennessee and tried to convert me when I was young.

I think Tennessee is close to being in the position Mizzou was in the early 80s. Obviously at two different levels historically, but I think Tennessee has sunk to a level below what their living fans expect to be their norm (not a troll.)
The worst thing you can do is blow a coach out that is doing okay (in comparison to everyone else, not history) hoping to return to the glory days.
It really set Mizzou back a ton blowing Al Onofrio out as well as Warren Powers because we wanted to get back to the good Devine years and thinking history would help the new coaches out.
It set us into a death spiral that, in addition to university administration changes that may not be replicated now that the money is huge, really killed Mizzou for a couple decades.
Stick with your guy, Dooley wasn't it, but hopefully Butch is.

I'm still on the Butch wagon. Probably won't see improvement record wise but I've liked most of what I've seen.
It was very refreshing to see a Tennessee team actually keep fighting when the wheels were falling off against Florida.
These Vols would run thru a wall for their coach and it's been a while since I've been able to say that.

To Hell with your program - I love watching it rot.
Jones will fail, he is already failing. The dung pile that is Tennessee football struggled with lowly USA. Enjoy the next decade of CUSA football.

I'm pleased. Obviously i get pissed and yell at the tv during games because we stink but its really not directed at Butch or the team. I've learned to be patient with the new coach.
