Gentlemen:
I'm new here at the SECrant, and I am totally lost on some of the insider lingo. Could someone please explain:
"FIFY"
"Germans"
Why all the "corndog" references for LSU?
Gracias, Hermanos

Welcome.
FIFY - Fixed it for you.
If you misspell something, have an obvious error, etc... someone will correct it and say FIFY.
Germans - Basically means it is old news and there are numerous (maybe dozens) of threads on that subject already.
Corndog - Everything is fried in Louisiana and is usually rolled in cornmeal. Thus, LSU fans smell like corndogs. Actually this was either an Iowa or Iowa State put down but someone dumped it on LSU and it stuck many years ago.
Gracias - Spanish for Thank You.
Hermanos - Spanish for brothers (plural)
