Interesting read on how A&M prepared for Bama.

Some funny quotes in there.

quote:

"Who is Ha Ha Clinton-Dix?" asks B.J. Anderson, A&M's offensive line coach.

"He's the one who knocked the (expletive) out of (Ryan) Swope last year," replies Beaty. "Ha Ha is friggin' good. He can back that name up. I promise you that."

"That a typo on the linebacker?" asks Jeff Banks, the Aggies' first-year special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. "6-6, 252? What the (heck) is that? We got (A&M linebacker Steven) Jenkins coming in at 209."

"Just before pregame we hung a box of Little Debbies, adjusting for altitude and jumping ability, 63 inches off the ground. We believed 2 hours of consternation may have shifted his focus." - Kevin Sumlin

Actually a good read. Kudos to Sumlin for the allowance of a plant.

Wow...A reporter actually doing some real, embedded reporting? That's a refreshing concept.

It's fascinating of course as an Aggie but just as a college football fan in general. Really gives you a feel for what is going on in their heads and how they prepare.

It also makes me really love Sumlin that much more, he does an amazing job of preparing his guys but keeping them loose at the same time.

I know that the SECr isn't home to much nuance but Feldman does quite a bit of good reporting. But he works in the evil media so DEYTOOKURRJERBS!!!
