How bad is Florida's offense?

What are their problems on offense? Are they having turnover problems, or can they just no sustain drives?

as bad as their defense is good.

If Driskell hadn't made so many mistakes, they would have easily thumped Miami. All up to him. If he plays well, UF can hang with any team.

Didn't Driskel throw for over 300 yards against Miami?

If you look at the stats, they have a good offense. Problem is, we made too many mistakes against Miami.
Mistake free = Big wins.

It's not that bad.
We turned the ball over five times against Miami, plus one turnover on downs.
Four of the six were in the red zone.
I'm convinced that the majority of the SECr didn't watch the game and is instead basing their judgment solely on the final score.

Yeah, Florida doubled Miami's Offensive output. But they turned the ball over 5 times, and looked discombobulated at the most crucial times. I lay that at the feet of the QB.

Spot on. Having a dumbarse as a QB caused us the game.

102. Florida

A lot of that can be blamed on the QB, but not all of it. Confusing play calling and ineffective RBs also get a good portion of the blame.

I think its because they don't have any down field threats

Bad enough to where if they lose a couple more games they will blame Meyer even more
Kidding; from what I saw of the Miami game UF could move the ball well between the 20s

Are you?
The Miami game will likely end up being a fluke the same way that the UGA game was a fluke in 2012.
We're not going to turn the ball over six times every game, and when we're not turning the ball over in the red zone, our offense is fairly effective.

True, but he doesn't seem to "lead" the team well. See McCarron. He doesn't get enough credit for "not choking" because a lot of people only notice when a QB 'chokes'. He just leads the team and doesn't get a lot of credit because he's "surrounded by talent". He's a damned good leader and his teammates have confidence in him. Don't know if that's the case with Driskell.

When Diskell plays poorly they are BAAAAD. If he play well they are fine. Trouble is he plays BAAAAD about three four games a year

Turnovers, especially in the red zone. Against Miami, even if they didn't score TDs in the red zone, if they just didn't turn it over and kicked FGs instead, they would have won.
