Why are LSU fans being so cocky?

Guys,
I very seldom post, however I enjoy coming over here and reading other peoples post. I have a question for the LSU fans. Why is it this year that the LSU fans seem to be so cocky about how good their team is? Currently LSU has played 3 teams with a combined record of 2 and 7 with the 2 victories being against SE Louisiana and Liberty. On the other hand Alabama's opponents are a combined 4 and 2 with both losses being to Alabama and Texas AM's opponents are 5 and 2 with both losses being to AM. I am not saying that LSU does not have a very good team. Just curious what you have seen from LSU to think that they will be able to beat Al, AM, FL and GA.

LSU is the most complete team in the league this year. We play great in Tuscaloosa. We get A&M at home. We have a right to be cocky.

Serious answer: because LSU has a pulse on offense.
For the past 5+ years, they could barely move the ball against teams like Troy or Kent State, end up eventually wearing them down and win by 20 or 30 points.
Just one fan's opinion, I'm not sold on LSU just yet. But if I post this on the Rant right now, I'd face much wrath (I mean like, "ban this guy" wrath).
