A more hyped TAMU game?

We all know that the LSU/Bama 11 game was more hyped than this weekends game, but what was the last game for the Aggies that was hyped this much?

Our game vs. Florida last year was pretty big, but not like this.
Might have to go with thanksgiving 2011 for the 2nd most hyped game.
.......at least we'd go there if there actually was a game played that night.

I just heard that College Station was the center of the college football world this weekend and I don't ever remember hearing shite like that.

Most hyped game of this year so far and it ain't close. Now if LSU is undefeated and so is Bama then that game takes over as most hyped. So far though, all eyes on college station.n

Little of both.
Increased exposure was the main impetus behind our joining this conference.
Sumlin/JFF accelerated that, though.

I don't if its because this is first semester of the last year of grad school, the off week, the lackluster performance in week 1, or what it is but I don't even feel like the season has started. I feel almost no hype for the game tomorrow.

The answer is "Never".
We have had games that got major attention after the victory, but I started at A&M in '91 and have never seen a game with this much hype before it was played.
