Some of us were saying it during the Cam stuff too. Though probably not many.

The NCAA most definitely does not follow a statute of limitations.

Hell they don't even have to prove you did something wrong

What it has to do with the SEC is that apparently most if not all these claims have to do with Les Miles tenure down in Stoolwater. As we all know the NCAA does not have a statute of limitations to follow. If some of this is true get your popcorn ready LSU fans...

I thought the statute of limitations was 4 years?

What does this have to do with the SEC??..

Nothing except we're probably going to hear a lot about how Auburn did the same thing and got away with it ... from the Big 12ers ya know.

If LSU was doing any of that, they would have not lost some pretty good recruits to Auburn, Bama, Seastrucnk, etc.

The only thing Les has to worry about is his reputation and LSU being under a bigger microscope.

We all know Les doesnt give two shits what his reputation is.

LULZ ask Penn State how that worked out

Unless they show a clear pattern that continued. Statute of limitations is probably the wrong term. More like a general time frame. In other words they are not going to go back and give sanctions if a kid received a free dinner from a booster five years ago. However, a coach involved in a conspiracy? That would be a whole different matter

Damn looks like you were correct, according to their rule book 4 year SOL.I guess this will have no bearing on Les, that is unless the NCAA decides to find some loophole.

somewhat, but they will go around that if need be, its not set in stone, especially if its an ongoing act.

However if they can nail you for the new stuff, they will let the old stuff slide. i.e. bama's 2002 ruling

I had honestly forgot about those.

But we also have the benefit of hindsight and the passage of time. There's only so many times you can throw out wild accusations that lead to nothing and still have any credibility.

Yes, the statute of limitations is where they went off book with Penn St.

Penn State was extraordinary circumstances.

I will admit that I am a little worried but if its anything like the other "huge stories SI is about to break" it's nothing more than slap on the wrist
