Will A&M throw a new defense at Alabama this weekend?

Alabama's weakness at OL is not on talent, it is on experience. Two weeks ago, VaTech took advantage of that with multiple formations, multiple shifts, and some things that the inexperienced OL just wasn't prepared for and were too green to adjust to. One of the O-linemen said in the following press conference that they couldn't tell where they were coming from or where they were going.
A lot of talk has been given to the return of some of A&M's starters for this game, but do you think A&M will keep doing what they have been doing, just better since the starters are back, or do you think they'll dial up something special for Alabama hoping to catch the OL in the same quandary they found themselves in against the Hokies?

Virginia tech has a more talented front than aggy. I'm not sure that the X's and O's will be enough to compensate for the Jose's and Juan's

They will stack the box.

Texas defenses full of Texas players are too soft to stop the run.
Saban has to be concerned with his running backs rushing to far too fast in the heat this weekend.

Were any of A&M's suspensions even on the DL? I thought they were mostly LB's and in the secondary.

I think they will stack the box and blitz multiple guys like VT did until we make them stop.

My hope is that the Aggies play the same Defense they always do. That's what killed LSU in 2012 BCSCG. Even after a month lay-off, they came out doing the same old shite on D and we we had a plan to counter it.

aTm + defense.....does not compute.
They would be better throwing bricks at Bama rather than a new D.

Starting DT for Rice and starting DE for Rice and SHSU.
I don't know what kinda defensive looks Snyder will throw out on Saturday to try and contain 'Bama but I feel confident saying that most of them will be seen for the first time by Saban and Co.

I like you when you're not flaming Bama

Yes, you will see much more 4 man front on 1st and 2nd down.
Snyder is very multiple on defense though, and there is no doubt he has held back (partly due to playing a lot of young guys).
Our defense will give up some yards, but I think they can also get turnovers.

Got to be this. I kept waiting on Bama to really light up VT as they stacked the box at will but we just conceded to pound the ball and basically take the beating. I guess it was a diversion tactic that could mean we have something up our sleeve for A&M trying the same thing.

I am sure there are some things we haven't seen yet, but I don't understand why everyone keeps making this game about the A&M defense. The a&M offense is better than last year from what I have seen so far and it was a record setting offense last year.
It doesn't matter if we can't stop their offense if they can't stop ours either.

I want to believe this, but I just don't know. AJ didn't audible nearly as much during that first game. It looked like he wasn't checking out of plays even if the defense was lined up to stop them. The game was never in doubt, so maybe we played it vanilla.
I'm so confused right now. Everything we've seen over the past few years says we'll crank it up a notch, but with JFF on the other side, we can't afford to not score a bunch.

really. you don't know but you say it will be unique? that's either supreme faith or flummery.
