Is it odd that Murray came back and Bobo turned down the job offers that came his way after the bowl game? I ask this question because of our recent QB signings and targets. Lemay and Ramsey are not traditional pockets passers and the 2014 target is listed as a dual threat guy. Is UGA already planning on life w/o Blowbo after this season?

With our without Bobo we are stuck with FSU's 1993 offense as long as CMR is the head man.

I'll take the Sprint Draw for $200 Alex.

I'll take the #1 ranked scoring offense in the SEC for $1000.

Hope he leaves. At least if Richt is calling the plays, we might be able to mix it up a lil bit.

It is unbelievable to me that we can go for like 600 yards and 35 points on the road against a top 10 opponent, have the best offense in the conference, and people still want the offensive coordinator fired. No offense, but y'all are being ridiculous.

We could have went for 700 yards and won the game if Marshall would have had a few play calls outside the tackles. There is a reason Alabama and the like make very few mistakes. They don't settle for anything less than titles. Moral victories and personal achievments don't win titles.

Could have = if...and you know the saying, if a frog had wings he wouldn't hit his arse every time he jumped..

From an outsiders perspective bobo isn't the problem. May want to look at your other coordinator. UGA put up 35, traditionally if a SEC scores 35 that is a W. Your boy on the other side of the ball hasn't been helping out Richt or Bobo's cause very much IMO.
I can give a pass last game to Clemson their O is legit and the D is young and was missing some players but look at last year with all the NFL talent he had and all those starters that returned, in most games UGA had to outscore teams

By Murray's own admission, he was a DT guy coming out of Plant. Remember that drive in his first game where he scrambled around the corner for the TD, and CMR took his head off on the sidelines for getting out of the pocket? He's trained himself to stay in the pocket now, to the point that CMB is trying to get him to use his legs to get out of a jam.

Hit on that a lot last year. Deaf ears, blind trust, etc...
TG was a god send for most on here. Haven't seen the results myself.

I still believe it's our defense that is the problem. Give us bama's defense (coaches and players or at least their level of play) and we win all day long.

There is too much pressure on the offense to carry the game. Your defense should never allow as many points as the offense scores. And that's the plain and simple truth!

Isn't this true of every team in the country, though?

Agree with this. Yea, we haven't had enough talent on the OL for a long time but realistically defense has been the weakness of Mark's teams for even longer. And yea, I'm not convinced that Grantham is our solution as DC.

Grantham just isn't the answer for the defense. I've seen too many fundamental errors by the defense in the last couple of years to think otherwise. I also think that there are better o-line coaches out there. Olivadotti is average as well.

Of course, he's also the same offensive coordinator who *almost* managed to break the 7 point barrier against Central Florida. He's got his share of stinkbomb games, too.

We lose Bobo and we get screwed. Bobo is not the problem, Grantham is. He is on his 4th year and still has not learned to stop the run with NFL talent defenses. We also need a special teams coach like a crackhead needs a rock! CTG is a square peg in a round hole, I hope that I am wrong but if Mike Davis runs for 150 yds this week and we lose again then bring up this post. He has yet to prove anything. It show or go time for CTG.

Hey...complain all you want about the defense, playing on the road, with only about 3 returning starters and a bunch of true freshmen...

But Murray lost the Clemson game, plain and simple. His INT, his fumble, and missing on some key throws that a veteran QB should have made. BUt we've seen this before.
