This is how warped you all on JFF. also ref to Tebow.

Most people I watched the game with were LSU fans and they thought that JFF did a double flip off and they crucified me all night.
I come to find out he did the money symbol that the old guys at espn by today have figured out this is a thing kids to all the time. It is a thing because he is friends with drake. The wr at Clemson did it and players do it all the time. Johnny did it all last year.
So that wasn't it.
AS I rewatch the play JFF is wanting to walk off and and he id getting jawed at. The rice guys are doing the taunting and he points at the scoreboard.
Oh no. Wow. He pointed at the score board. Yal are Really goint to act like this is a big deal.
Tim Tebow - Flash back a few years - I cant find a gif, but tebow run all the way to the LSU student section and acts like he is calling them ( the famous Tebow number leak game). Now If there is anyone who should teach Turn the other cheek - this is the guy. But no. He does something far worse than point at the scoreboard.

Leading up to the game, LSU fans found out Tebow’s cell phone number and left not-so-flattering remarks. When Tebow rushed for a touchdown near the student section, he mimicked a cell phone with his hand, telling LSU fans to call him now. Though Tebow accounted for three scores, the Tigers won 28-24.
Refs - dont make calls on the field based on what happens off the field.
Now my personal opinion - I loved it. and I am not a Tebow fan - but that is for another thread. But I loved that move.
The JFF thing should have been a no call a call on Rice only oor a double call.
The money signal is HIS thing - are the refs going to make him stop doing this and let everyone else keep doing it? Change the rule midseason and make that gesture taunting.
JFF has made mistakes. But to start screwing him on the field and then piling on is fricking bullshite and bushleague.
One of the Rice players in the altercation has tweeted JFF was telling him Nice hit originally.
JFF is getting railroaded but now we are on the field - have some ethics and be fair to the guy. Does he have his own set of flags now?

If true, then Tebow was responding to fans who harassed him outside of the game because they wanted to throw him off his game. He didn't act like a douche for 12 straight months leading up to the game.
JFF draws the negative attention to himself because of the way he behaves. He actually got suspended according to the NCAA's recommendations, and likely deserved harsher penalties.

If it takes that much bs to try and rationalize JFF's behavior on the field Saturday, then you probably shouldn't even try. You might as well just own it that JFF wants to be the bad boy and taunt and make autographing and money gestures to say frick you to the NCAA and the media. It's incredibly douchey and incredibly "look at me" but Manziel is cool with that and you should be too.

Tebow had hundreds of LSU students calling and texting him before the game.
