Chris Davis is a senior, John Mincy seems like a guy that would jump to the NFL, Ryan White is a senior, Jonathan Jones has a broken ankle, Rudy Ford has never played the position, Josh Holsey is now a safety, and Kamryn Melton is a true freshman...

Not to mention, we have only one commitment at cornerback right now in Nick Ruffin.

It's already worrisome this year, next year it will likely be even worse.

CBs will improve as the season progresses.

The OP is obviously about the depth, not the overall ability of the top few.

I'm worried about our QB play 10 years from now. It could be an 8 year old TPOS not worth a damn.

I would be Holsey moves back to CB next year as our young safeties grow this season.

I think that's a good idea. We have much better depth at safety right now, with some of them also at STAR.

We still may take 2 more CB's in this class too. It's definitely a concern, but we have good options.

I just loved our guys seeing the ball. If they were in zone/good position, they found the ball and got their hands on it.

We got hit hard on some slants, however we broke up a good number of them, which I didn't see us do that at all last year.

Mincy would be stupid to go pro. Doubt he would get drafted.

Anyway,Jones will be back with Mincy and I could see Holsey moving back to corner next year. Others will also developed and step up by next season

Not because he's that's fricking good, but because he seems like a guy that would leave early. See Darvin Adams.

I think we should worry about this year first.

Mincy, Holsey, Jones, Ford and Melton plus what we sign in this class should be enough depth and talent.

I love the development of the secondary under Johnson and company. They are actually doing what CBs Ste supposed to do. Plus they are playing guys like Therezie who additionally make plays, instead of just posting favorites.

As to the OP, I think the roster mismanagement under Chizik is as thing of the past. I'd like to see Stanton Truitt tried at cb
