Or maybe UF just decided to run the ball 48 times today.

UF stopped Toledo on 12 of 13 3rd downs and on its only 4th-down try. Gators also owned possession 39:48 to 20:12.
Seems okay to me

The defense was going to dominate. That was a given. I think you wanted to see more from the O.

Because........
I'm just saying, a game like Toledo is sort of like pre-season. You work on things.

Not going to bust open the playbook before Miami next week. Did what we needed, which was establish a running game and grind it out, which got us 11 wins last year.
But penalties...

yeh, why would UF rollout the full play book against Toledo that they could easily roll just by running the ball up the gut.
Defense looked really good

I didn't watch the game, but I can imagine that UF went full vanilla today

First off, frick you for calling us Mississippi, and secondly the 3teams you're saying its between haven't even played yet. Our team is too young to win the west, especially since games 3-7 are @ Texas, @ Bama, @ Auburn, aTm and LSU.

Last year, USCe barely escaped its opener w/ Vandy on a thurs night, went on to win 11 games.
Not saying that Ole Miss is ab to go 14-0 or anything, but I think a lot of people are being too dismissive of the Rebels. Still think 9-3 is very possible which obviously includes an upset of one of the four most folks have them pegged to lose.
I reserve the right to be wrong.

I really hope we win tonight. I will avoid the rant for a year if we don't

Blowhio state better not be in anymore NC conversations.

Really? You obviously haven't learned not to be arrogant without foundation. Translation: Wait until everybody plays rantard.

Maybe but I'm gonna hold opinion on Bama until after they play. We have an inexperienced secondary and o line. If we win 38-10 then I'll say ok, we're looking good. I'm not one that takes a Beamer coached team lightly. they were 7-5 last year and the press and fans were righting him off. This guy can coach. We can't sleep walk through this by no means and I don't think we will but if we do we could lose. Same with LSU. TCU is tough and a win by any amount is a good one. You can tell by watching who is good. I have been more impressed with Vandy and Ole Miss more than anyone so far
