well seems like it'd just be coming from one direction, clemson fans, and more importantly, who gives a shite.
You should know better than this. It will be coming from Bob Stoops, Bo Pelini, Urban Myer and every other second rate conference and school.

Im saying that for the SEC we could see a flood of Clemson fans and the "SEC is overrated" coming from all directions.
It sure didn't take you long to be a good little lemming and start spouting bullshite did it?
Here's a clue for you. Good teams can lose to other good teams, particularly on the road. Clemson is a good team.

I don't think the buzz is similar at all
It is SIMILAR, for reasons that have already been pointed out. Of course they aren't the exact same, they're completely different circumstances. But to say they aren't similar at all is simply choosing to ignore what's been presented.

If I recall correctly y'all were predicted to get the W, but this thread is about the opposite
Predicted by who...or is it whom? Whatever.

UGA may struggle early on defense, but they've recruited just about as well as LSU and Bama. They'll be OK.
And how many starters did LSU lose?
Don't even compare the 3. Alabama and LSU have elite defensive coaching staffs and Georgia does not. End of story!

3rd place in the west far exceeded any expectations any of you tards gave us credit for before the season started.
Why do A&M fans keep saying this? Johnny Manziel was an unknown, and no one predicted that Arkansas and Auburn would take such a huge step back from 2011. You barely held on to beat Alabama and were fortunate to beat Ole Miss in the closing moments. If Arkansas and Auburn were worth anything last year, then they could have given you problems last year too. The Aggies weren't predicted to finish in the Top 10 and 3rd in the West because other programs were assumed to be better or even with them, but that wasn't the case for Arkansas and Auburn last season. Auburn will return.

Different circumstances, different teams, different expectations, different predictions, different national picture aspect and outlook
There are some things that are similar for every season opener for every team. New question marks, new players, etc.
I would bet this game has an entirely different feel and outlook to most college football fans than UGA vs Mizzou

Wow, had to look it up and you're right - tech's gawd awful defense ranked 43 and Clem's came in 20 spots behind them in total defense. WOW!
One team finished 7-7, and the other team finished 11-2 with a win over LSU. What's your point?

If I recall Alabama struggled with y'all pretty mightily until the 4th quarter. How did that work out for you?

I have never understood why people like to use total defense as a measure of how good a team is. I would think scoring defense would mean more. I mean if you run up 450 yards on me but only get FGs all day then I still did my job as a defense.
UGA Scoring "D" #18... taters scoring "D" #48...
So UGA finished 32 spots ahead in Total "D" & 30 spots ahead in scoring "D"...

What a joke: you used Missouri as an example.
That team suffered serious attrition to their offense in the offseason and gave you fits until Jarvis Jones, not your offense or running game, took over the game.

Oh, really? You guys are convinced that Cam Cameron is going to pay off huge dividends for you offensively this year. Well, we have a former NFL defensive coach in Todd Granthem....I'm confused. Does getting a proven assistant from the NFL guarantee success or doesn't it?

Predictions are meaningless.

You have to read. He said the HYPE was similar. NOT the teams.

For what it's worth, I can understand why people would pick Clemson, too!
But I PREDICT we will win!
