Now that's funny. Toledo has maybe a 5% shot at beating UF.
I'm sure you probably would have said the exact same thing last year before you played ULL.

Or Bowling Green.

I believe both of those games were victories. Despite UF's poor play. Bowling green by 13 actually.
ULL was the painfully close one.
Which is why I'm picking them to beat Arkansas.

I'm not sure the gators offense can put up two tds sat. Their D is gonna have to score some to overcome holytoledo.

We get it, Florida isn't that good so you are counting on others to make other teams look worse.
We all watched that SugarBowl, at home on the couch, just like Florida fans.

uh... I hate to burst your bubble but you do know that Florida is a shite ton better than Arkansas right?

quote:Not relavent, even remotely, to what we are talking about. Not to mention, LSU's "previous" conference (co)championship was in 1988; Arkansas' was in 1989.
LSU had won the SEC Championship previously so getting back wasn't that hard.
quote:Again, this has nothing to do with the fact UAB beat LSU and LSU didn't remain a doormat thereafter, agreed?
Unfortunately Arkansas, after 22 years, has still yet to get over that "initial hump" of being a champion in a real conference.

Who do you like in this game?
I think the Cajuns will beat Arkansas. ULL was beating Florida last year and blew it in the last few seconds. They are returning a lot of starters including their QB. Arkansas doesn't appear very strong to me.
Geaux Cajuns.
I'm saying ULL 28, Arkansas 21
I will go out on a limb and pick Arkansas just because I don't know enough about ULL's defense. Arkansas lost the only offense they had last year in Wilson, their top receiver, their top 2 rushers and have Allen as their QB but I don't know if ULL will have any defense.
Arkansas 24, ULL 21

I get your point, and you are right that Karnell Hatcher must have either had money on us or he had an aneurysm the night before. The overall stance though was that 2010 Arkansas was better than 2011 Arkansas and not many would deny that.

I pray arkiesauce is not good again. I don't want to hear that crap all year.
Surely the will not upset the Aggies but Ole Miss and La Tech almost did so anything is possible. Seems like Bulimia hates the spread so that probably means he does not do well against it.

My arkie fan neighbor would have killed those refs if he could have gotten to them. I thought he was going to have a stroke.

Arkansas had no pass defense and ULL has a good QB. I think it will come down to Arkansas's offense vs ULL's defense. Arkansas has no QB but ULL had no pass defense and Arkansas has no proven running game and ULL was 43rd in the nation in rushing defense. So I don't really no which way it will go. It will probably hinge on Allen being able to throw the ball. If he has a good day if will he a shoot out. If he has a bad day ULL could win by double digits. I wouldn't bet on it.

I KNEW that if I stayed in this thread long enough some Arky poster would bring up 2009.
So predictable.

Pretty much everyone except Arkansas fans thinks it's going to be relatively close.

Do you blame them? I had to contain my laughter because of my neighbor. UF was supposed to be a lot better than arkie that year too. Things change a lot from year to year. hopefully arkie will still suck but you never know.
