I really don't get the chest thumping by some flagshippers concerning our game last year. Both teams were horrid, y'all were just a little bit less horrid than we were.

So you're dickriding the guy that rode Hugh Freeze's coattails with a pretty talented ASU team for the Sunbelt.

I'm not even sure why you do this. This is weak, DaleDenton, lame troll stuff here. Either have a discussion or be witty and creative in your trolling. Don't just mail it in like Denton.

But again you want everyone to know you beat a sorry Auburn team.

No, I want everyone to know that an Arkansas team who had a bunch of lameducks as coaches beat an Auburn team with lameducks as coaches

Conclusion? Arkansas talent > Auburn talent
quote:

When you beat a more talented team with a Coach that can coach then you can say you accomplished something. We have split the last 10 games. Thats not owing anyone.

Wait so when Petrino beat you with your top 10 recruiting classes that doesn't count?

quote:

Difference is Arky is stuck with a QB with a lower QB rating than Fraizer last year while Auburn has alot better

Who wants to bet that BA has a better rating than Marshall when the season is over? I know I do

quote:

, Auburn has more overall talent

Says who? 247 and Rivals? Good thing our talent is more developed than yours

Oh and Ben Herbert > Russell

quote:

and Arkansas doesn't have an offensive guru to keep them in games

Good thing we're going to actually field a defense then

Our running game is going to be pretty damn good this year. Pittman is one of the best, if not the best, OL coaches in the nation. Sucks that you guys got stuck with some 80 year old Sun Belt lifer who only got the job because no one wanted to come to Auburn with Gus

quote:

Arkansas has sucked when they didn't have an offensive coach to keep them in games with his play calling

When was the last time we had a defensive staff as good as this one? Broyles?

quote:

It will be a while before he can built that in the SEC West.

I feel confident in saying Arkansas is going to be much better than Auburn in the near future

You're dickriding a coach that has never been in the league and a DC in his second year and a staff as a whole hasn't ever coached in the SEC. Most of Auburn's staff has succeeded in the SEC for years. ASU lost talent when Gus took over and still had more offensive yards plus the QB improved greatly from Freeze to Gus where his TD to INT ratio of about 1:1 under Freeze jumped to 6:1 under Gus.

These are some of the same folk that nicknamed Brian VanGorder 'Stache', and Scott Loefler 'Lefty' this exact same time last year. How many times did we see that Lefty was gonna work miracles with Frazer 'cause he coached the great Tom Brady & Tim Tebow.

Can't blame 'em for supporting their coaches though - they'll stand behind them through thick 'n thin in Auburn.

You Hawgs on the other hand are well versed in flying banners over the field, and callin a Nutt a nut, and a clown a clown (Jawnell)....

Both AU & Arky's new coaches have a lot to work with, I'm excited to see how they produce.

The fact you claim Petrino is a lame duck coach and compare him to Chizik show you don't have a clue about what you are talking about. Petrino won on his schemes and playcalling which BB doesn't do. Which is why said BB is not going to do much at Arky for a while.

quote:

Yeah since BB is so great at coaching QBs. Gus improved most QBs he has coached.

The nation all the recruiting analyst and top coaches who wanted the players we got verses Arky's players. Who besides Arky fans claim Arky's is better? No one.

Too bad you don't have the talent to field a good enough one so your offense doesn't need an offensive guru to run up the score. You still need the talent to coach up. I would take Gus who has shown he can turn a team around in one year with his offense and a Top DC who have both shown they can succeed in the SEC over a coach who doesn't know what he is getting into and a 2nd year DC.

quote:

A lot longer than it has been since Auburn has.

Maybe so but its going to be hard with Arkansas being void of much top talent every year and the rest of the SEC talking half that. Bama and LSU's states are loaded with instate talent every year. You have to have a 2 or 3 deep rotation of good players to have a solid defense in the SEC like BB needs.

Reading comprehension bro. Get some

quote:

Yeah since BB is so great at coaching QBs

Good thing BB hired someone to do that for him

Our talent is more developed than yours. Who gives a frick where they were out of high school. Your players didn't progress as they should have and it's going to show this year

quote:

Too bad you don't have the talent to field a good enough one so your offense doesn't need an offensive guru to run up the score

Good thing we hired a complete staff this time

Under Petrino beside the OC (who didn't even call the plays) there weren't any really good position coaches. Other areas of the team suffered because of it. Now there aren't any obvious weak links, which shows Bielema knows what he's doing. We're going to field a more complete team than Petrino ever did

quote:

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Gus has been head coach for one whole year at a Sun Belt school and you want to compare him to Bielema? They're not even in the same league.

Oh shite Bielema doesn't know what he's getting in to? Damn you should've told him before he came! You obviously know way more about the SEC and what it takes to win here, right? I mean being a fan of the conference means you know more about than being an actual fricking coach rig

quote:

Arkansas being void of much top talent every year

Bielema and staff are better at recruiting than any staff we've had since Broyles. They're taking in way higher quality players than Petrino or Nutt could ever hope of getting

I am not going to fill up the thread replying to every single one of your comments. The season is fixing to start and you will see there is a reason Auburn is expected to be better. Arky fans are alone in their arguments aside from a few Auburn haters. I guess you have convinced yourselves that you know better than the experts. If everything was as you claim then Arkansas wouldn't be predicted to finish last in the SEC West. You get an A for effort on every thread but you will soon see what everyone else does and what coaches say about the SEC being a different game. Saban went 7-6 in his first year at bama and is alot better coach than BB. BB needs alot more talented team from top to bottom to have a good defense and to run teams over in the SEC. It will be awhile before he even gets close to that with the talent at an in Arkansas. Gus's offense can sustain Auburn until the Defense is up to par. BB's offense can't.

I know that is why if we bet and Auburn wins...you still have to wear the signature given to you. I dont want another bet to negate that.

So it can't be a ban bet.
