Guess the SEC wasn't the place for him. Maybe the competition did scare him off a bit. Good luck to the kid.

Believe they just hired one of his HS coaches. No surprise here, tbh.

WR out of New Jersey. Had LSU as his leader for a while until he went to their camp and saw the competition. Visited Bama right after and said they gave him something to think about. Not really SEC, but since he was high on LSU and Bama, just figured I'd post

Good lord, Bama and LSU fans are the worst.
Everytime a kid goes elsewhere he was scared of the SEC or some stupid excuse. God forbid a kid wanting to stay closer to home.

Bielema was scared of the Rose Bowl.

You hit the nail on the head. He wanted to commit to LSU but we made him camp and then after seeing the bama camp the following week he knew he was going to ride pine.

Talented player... He should have a nice run at Rutgers.
Staying closer to home and easier road to PT

I really wasn't trying to be an SEC homer, he actually said in an interview that he was concerned about the depth chart. I'm sure there were several factors that influenced his decision, but I can't help it that-that seemed to be one of them.

I understand why you would feel this way, but in this recruitment it is the absolute truth. He complained that in-state guys got treated better too.

He actually said he didn't expect that kind of talent to be there at the camp. It sort of scared him and made him reconsider. He was supposed to commit that week and didn't.

The players that are serious about competing with the best come to the SEC. The others go elsewhere.

If you even remotely knew why the OP said what he had said, you wouldn't have posted this.
