Even in a worse case scenerio, is there any SEC coach who could possibly get fired after a bad season besides probably Gary Pinkel?
No one else is even on a slightly warm seat that I can think of

Besides Pinkel? Mullen only if State absolutely implodes. Then the reign of Hud begins.

No. The only one that could possibly feel some heat in my opinion would be Mullen. If State finishes last in the West by chance then their fan base might start to get uneasy. You're already seeing the beginnings of it with their rumblings about his recruiting.

Everybody is pretty well brand new or well-enough established that their seat isn't even warm.
If Pinkel's season goes anything like his recruiting has he could be in big trouble.

Mullen if State stumbles out of the gate.

I think there are a good amount of State fans that actually hope Mullen leaves or implodes so they can get Hud

The Tennessee coach? I don't remember his name.

Mullen. Maybe Pinkel. Maybe Miles but probably not.

What if Florida completely tanked and won say 7 games? Last season Muschamp was, supposadly, on the hot seat...would a bad year simply put him on notice for next year?

Which is crazy all things considered.

This is college football. Anybody can be fired. Ask Paterno's family.

Even is Muschamp has a 7 win season, he'd only be on notice. I think the same for Mullen (even though it'd be good season or bust next season for him).
Outside of an outright scandal I really only see one coach that is within firing/forced to resign range.

You're right, any coach who covers up a massive child molestation operation can be fired

There has been such a turnover in coaches the past couple of years, I can't think of any.

Your current coach is much better than 80 year old JoePa, so be thankful

Ways to be better than JoPa:
1. Do not turn a blind eye to child rape.
2. Do not turn a blind eye to child rape.
Not too hard, eh?

Pinkel's seat is hot. I mean he's sweating bullets, clinching his teeth, writhing with discomfort hot. Less than 7 wins= he gone
