Are you serious? Typically the architect does a preliminary during the DD phase and final before bid release. Sounds like your AD doesn't know what it's doing.

They had a lot of pressure from the paper, fans, and people on the state level to release something regarding the renovations.

He got the bonding and they have their architect as of yesterday (you can see the link I posted a page or so back). I can bitch about my AD over a lot of things, but this isn't one of them IMO.

ETA: It's a lot of the same guys that have done expansions/renovations at other SEC schools and NFL stadiums. I'm not too worried about it.

“You’re going to be right at a hundred thousand,” Nunez said, which would make Death Valley the seventh largest stadium nationally and third in the Southeastern Conference, slightly behind the University of Tennessee and the University of Alabama

Direct quote from Senior Associate AD at LSU. Now if you are pulling the Tennesset deal of squeezing 100K+ into a 90K stadium, it is a different story.
But I doubt you'll be able to list SRO as part of stadium capacity.

this was before A&M announced their stadium project so the plans were altered. Why is this so difficult for you to understand?

That quote from Nunez is from September of last year, whereas the 103,500 number began coming out within the last few weeks.

I was skeptical as well but some TAF buddies have been telling me the same thing.

I'm sure that was accurate a year and a half ago when that article was put on that website.

First of all, Kentucky's chief architects are apparently functional retards.

Second, weak sauce Mizzu. Weak sauce.

Wouldn't Freeze be the perfect coach for A&M? A fiery Christian fellow like him would go over well with the closeted brainwashed fan base.

Facts On LSU Stadium Expansion

When LSU first unveiled the renderings, yes, 99,500 with room for around 500 SRO was the quoted figure. However, a few weeks ago Les Miles was speaking at an engagement and let the cat out of the bag that 103,500 is actually the number. He turned and asked Maj. General who confirmed it's 103,500.

103,500>102,000. Sorry, aggie.

They will just add another tray to the tackle box.

Then after JFF leaves and Miles retires both can get into a pissing contest about who's stadium looks emptier on TV.

I thought the meme was that Miles is a retard and any coach would win as much if not more?

Meh, we'll still have track room that LSU doesn't have to get attendance to 105k for big games.

Besides, A&M's stadium will seat 109k for one year only next season when the sound endzone is done so we'll set an SEC attendance record at some point that nobody will beat for a while.
