You realize that any school that doesn't have a conference game in Week 2 could have a bye in Week 2, correct?
UF, UK, Mizzou, Tennessee, Vandy, Arky, Auburn, LSU, State, Ole Miss, and A&M could've all had byes in week 2 but chose other weeks
ETA: LSU has byes before Bama and A&M, A&M has a bye before LSU and could've had 1 before Bama, UGA has 1 before UF and could've had 1 before LSU

You cannot look at the schedule unbiased and not think it looks weird! There is just no way.

I think you're trying real hard to see something that isn't there. You think it's weird that Bama/A&M plays week 3 instead of week 2 even though the SEC traditionally has more conference match-ups in week 3 than week 2
You might have a point if A&M and LSU didn't also have the option of scheduling their bye weeks before Bama (and each other) but they do

Bingo..you are correct ! The "unbiased" SEC schedulers CHANGED the A&M vs. Bama game from late in the season and just AFTER the LSU game, to an earlier date to AVOID back/back difficult opponents like last year...we all saw what happened to Bama then...
HOW can one look at the schedule change and NOT see a bias at work AGAIN !!!
Bama has 2 tough games in 2013 and they are 8 weeks apart...Christ !

According to A&M fans, Bama is screwed because we have to chase around their high pace offense during the hottest part of the season
