So let me see if I have this straight: He was committed to Alabama from the beginning then committed to us and then took back his commitment so he could commit to Alabama and Ohio State.
Reminds me of that 4 star TE from Texas a few years ago -- Chris Barnett -- who went to 4 different high schools in 4 years and flirted with UT, committed to OU, then committed to us, then flipped to Michigan on NSD, then washed out like two weeks after reporting to campus.
Last I heard he wound up at UConn (I think) and then some small D3 school in like New England or somewhere and was playing linebacker. Who the heck knows what he's doing now.

Forgot all about that guy. Once again, after NSD all that floated down stream and I had no idea he didn't even make it out of fall camp at Michigan.
Crazy how these can't miss recruits just fade away once adult football starts being played.

Arkansas has one commitment in the Class of 2016 and he drew a visit from Alabama Coach Nick Sabanto his school on Wednesday. Smackover (Ark.) 3-star wide receiver Jordan Jones committed to Arkansas on June 19. However, it appears the Crimson Tide are trying to make an impression with him.
According to a family member, Jones may visit Tuscaloosa this weekend. It appears Jones remains solid to the Razorbacks at this point though.

Jones has a grade of 85 with the 247Composite, No. 528 prospect in the nation, No. 85 wide receiver and No. 7 prospect in Arkansas in 2016. Jones is one to watch for a definite boost in the recruiting rankings in coming months.

His uncle posts on the 247 board and posted this earlier tonight:

He doesn't at all. He was at the Ark/Bama game in all Cardinal freezing cheering on the hogs, he's talking to other recruits trying to get him on board, he's from as big a razorback supporting family as I can think of. I'm not sure of any of yalls football experience but I went through the recruiting process and I believe if its been earned go for it! Tenpenny wanted to prove he could play at Bama Dyer at Auburn and so if KJ decides he's happiest at OSU or Ball State go for it. He earned the ability to make that choice. And by the way Jordan will be a hog that's set in stone he just is thinking about taking up Sabans offer to come check the place out. Nothing more nothing less.

Yeah he is seemingly all Hog. Bama gonna nibble while they can.

And I'm totally straight, I'm just thinking about going to a gay orgy for funsies.

A more apt analogy would be: you love your fiancee, but you go to a strip club for your bachelor's party.

saw on another site Pettway has started following some Pitt coaches on twitter. I refuse to get on twitter to confirm said rumor.

Chaney is still pushing for him but I wouldn't be too concerned. If we are playing the followers game then 90% of his followers are Arkansas.

This was posted 8 minutes ago on the OSU Board.
On Thursday morning Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was in Arkansas to visit North Little Rock wide receiver K.J. Hill. Later in the day rumors circulated that Hill had committed to the Buckeyes and would not be making an official visit to Arkansas this weekend.
However, 247Sports has learned Hill will take one more official visit.
“He is going to visit Arkansas this weekend,” North Little Rock offensive coordinator Blake Pizan said. “We have a big basketball game tonight against one of our rivals and then he will go to Arkansas on Saturday morning.”
In addition to Ohio State and Arkansas, Alabama is also still in the mix. Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban visited Hill on Wednesday.
According to Pizan, Hill hasn’t decided yet exactly when and how he will announce his college choice.
“We haven’t got that far yet,” Pizan said.
Hill, who at one time was an Arkansas commitment, is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the country’s No. 153 prospect, the No. 17 wide receiver, and the No. 1 prospect in Arkansas.

It does bode well for our staff's evaluations when a kid we got a commitment from after his sophomore year of high school is already attracting Nick Saban before his senior year.

In response to everyone thinking I'm trying to downgrade KJ because I'm preparing for disappointment...... whatever... that's not what I was doing.... I'm saying that he doesn't make or break this class. At this point I don't think we get him. I never feel good about a kid coming to us if Saban is personally involved in the recruit. I know too many stories from too many HS coaches about his "tactics".

What if KJ is actually out at these other schools trying to recruit other 4 and 5* players to AR ala Preston Williams style. ??
