Ole Miss Fans - Can yall beat Texas? Freshman to contribute?

Obviously yall had A&M beat and it slipped out but yall played great. I didn't see the Texas game and just can't imagine how that happened. Obviuosly yall were getting better as year went on.
and who do yall expect to get significant time from Fresh.

I think they beat them since its an early game and Ash will probably be QB1. But I think Tyrone Swoopes is named the starter around game 4 and I doubt Ole Miss would have beaten him. He's a freak.

I don't expect us to beat Texas... they should be better than last year and the game is in Austin.
We do have a few things going for us:
Austin isn't the greatest home-field advantage (UCLA and others have won there recently)
Mack is a clown
We have more athletes than last year
We should be more comfortable defending their spread offense
I think Texas wins like 31-28 or some shite like that.

Yea - Texas has a ton of talent. If somehow Mack gets them together they can be good. Sould be a great game.
What happened last year? Yall were better than Texas by the end of the year in my opinion.

Our team was young and still learning. That was the first game they got absolutely smacked in the mouth and imo it was good for them. We blew some coverages and honestly allowed them to do whatever they wanted on offense.
Like you said, we got better as the season progressed. If we had played them later it would have most likely been a diff story. But we didnt. And they dropped 66 on us at home. Sept 15 will be a chance for payback.

I'm looking for a guy like Laquon Treadwell to really come out early and have a big impact early. I think we can definitely utilize him this year

I am an LSU fan and A&M Fan. Its no secret. I have defended Les Miles and LSU and posted about A&M a little. Then when A&M jumped to SEC I found this place.
I appreciate the stalking though. Why does it matter so much to you?
I tried to join with another account as LSU to keep it less confusing but they said it was an alter? I can't see why you can't use 2 - one for each team. Im sure half you have multiple accounts.

Yup- I honestly think the moment was overwhelming for us and we were way too hyped - we over-ran soooo many plays on defense.

Ole Miss will demolish Texas. Does this years' Texas team have talent? Sure. Texas also had arguably more talent last year and still stunk up the Big 12 like hooker crotch. What the whorns don't have anything even resembling decent QB play, an identity or quality coaching. Freeze and his staff are something like a million times better than that arse clown Mack Brown and his revolving door coaching staff. Home field advantage? Meh. Quietest 100,000 fair weather fans in the country.
