A&M at or near the top of another SEC academic ranking.
Shocking.
Shocking.

Actually, the way you have it sorted is not by ROI. Click on the column with ROI.
By ROI with financial aide, AU ranked #31 in overall and second only to A&M in the SEC.
ROI is the most accurate way to rank since it takes into account cost and eventual return. Your rankings are by absolute dollars (the way it is sorted).

That was the way payscale has it sorted by default. Lots of data there that can be analyzed but I just left it as I found it from an article.

Makes sense. LSU is relatively cheap compared to other SEC schools and a lot of folks move to Houston and work for some of the most profitable companies in the world (oil & gas).

Absolutely shocked Vandy is not #1

While I'm happy my school ranks highly, I am despondent about paying for my kids to go there.
This shite is out of control expensive.

Looks like Ole Miss is charging a premium to bang their coeds because the cost to attend vs ROI is in the shitter.
Hell, State is kicking your asses and I'm genuinely surprised to see that.

ROI is a pretty good measure. Neat list.

Considering the report ranks 1500 universities, any ranking of 300 or above is in the top 20% and the SEC is well represented with half its schools in the top 300.
A&M and AU have a clear advantage due to top notch engineering programs, which is about the best ROI of any college degree.
Also LSU gets a boost (as mentioned) from its engineering program and proximity to the best job market in the entire U.S. - Houston.

This doesn't make sense to me. Florida hovers around a top 50 academic undergrad with one of the lowest tuition rates in the country.
