Why didn't Jones do this at Cinci? I know he didn't have the level of program all time he has at Tenn now, but he should have been a good recruiter. Maybe I missed it but don't remember his classes being that good

he brought in best recruiting classes ever at Cinci (in Cinci's standard which is still not good)

Top offensive performer
Jack Jones, OT, Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland – Jones was part of a thin group at offensive line so he was the recipient of a healthy dose of reps and he made the most of his opportunity. Jones is very athletic and despite playing in a run-heavy offense, he has already developed a very obvious comfort level in his pass set. Jones moves like an athlete and can handle speed off the edge very effectively.
At 6-foot-4.5 and 265 pounds, Jones has yet to play his junior season and still has time to develop physically. As he adds more mass to his frame and maintains that athleticism, the 2015 standout has a chance to emerge as one of the state’s top linemen for his class.
Recruiting: Jones currently holds one offer from Middle Tennessee State. He is also very high on both in-state programs of Vanderbilt and Tennessee and has visited both on multiple occasions.
Top 247 Lock.

Cinci literally has some of the worst facilities in division 1 college football.

Kelly didn't recruit well at Cincy either from a rankings perspective, and now Notre Dame is in the top 5 nearly every year.

Correct, but I believe people thought Kelly was great, and Butch was more just "his replacement." He may really be better than most expected

Blah blah blah...boobs..if you want people to take you serious take those things off...lol I keed.
Seriously this guy has a great football name. Can he play linebacker? Good job. Vols football is looking up.

Per Rivals - Bama just offered.

Don't think it's been put out there yet but I'm told Alabama is set to offer Jack Jones today (or already has by the time you read this.) I plan to catch up with Jones later today to get his thoughts.
