Vonnegut is not a UT alum. He was sent to UT in 1943 to participate in the Army Specialized Training Program, which was a 5 month war-time effort to create specialists in a variety of fields (Engineering in Vonnegut's case).

Good effort, but I'm pretty sure:
Clark Kent went to school in the Midwest.
Bruce Wayne never bothered, but if he did it was Ivy League.
Peter Parker definitely never attended college. No time, what with all the spidey-stuff.
Oliver Queen: No idea, so I'll give you that one.
Me: Ditto. Please let us know what superpowers you possess.

Yet he lives in Oxford and donates tons of money to the Ole Miss Law School. Also, most, if not all, of his books are about Law and everyone knows that has nothing to do with MSU.
