I've seen on some other sites that it's not a big deal and he's expected to be ready before the start of fall camp.
Just sucks that we wont get to see him on A-Day.

Oh, well, then it deserved it's own thread

yep.........it's the end of the world for some fans so might as well have it's own. We've got 8 scholarship RB's and some posters on other boards are acting like this is a catastrophe.

he already got most of the benefit of spring practice. He should be fine for fall practice unless it was a very bad break. It does suck that we always seem so injury prone. maybe we just practice harder.

Hate that for him, hopefully it's not too bad.

Might be good for him. Make him take time away from the physical part of the game and work on the play book.

Fibula! Not Tibia.
Tibia = Prothro
Fibula = 8 weeks in a boot
Reggie Bush fractured his fibula in his last season with NO and missed 8-9 weeks and never really was back to form until the next season when he ran for 1,000 yards.
I would classify it as slightly worse than a high ankle sprain but better than turf toe.
Some offensive lineman will play through it with the leg heavily taped.
