I'll prepare it for our NIT showdown at MSG.

It's not unlikely at all. Especially if JOB returns.

We are bringing in some damn good players, plus returning everyone except tuba and Carmouche. .

It is highly unlikely, you aren't Top 40 by ESPN or any other publication for a reason, not even on their radars. Your AD has a history of scheduling cupcakes in the OOC, which hurts the conference RPI, which hurts your chances, on top of the lack of quality wins and any potential upset loss.

Do you have any scheduling news with a series against a high ranked team? If not, don't expect a schedule of patsy's to get you anywhere come March.

A Top 15 class doesn't mean a whole lot in Year 1, but keep thinking otherwise.

Yeah, if you want to have a chance at making the tourney you have to schedule to make the tourney and LSU, Ole Miss, and Ms. State have been notorious about scheduling soft in the OOC to pad wins then cry about being "left out" on selection Sunday...

Don't see it happening. SEC will be much improved, but so will we. I don't think some of our fans are grasping the fact that we had 2 post players for most of the season. When you have 2 guards manning the 4 spot for most of the game, you're gonna have problems.

Top 40 to start? Impossible. An NCAA tourney bound team by March? More than plausible.

It's top 10. I know Anderson hasn't sniffed one yet , but don't belittle us for his shortcomings in meeting your fan's outrageous hopes and dreams.

I feel the same way; however if we can manage not to make a pre new year's month of self destruction, Bama might make the tournament.

We brought in a top 5 class 2 years ago fellas. Freshmen will still be freshmen, unless they are all top 10 players like UK brings in regularly. I think y'all have a shot at the tournament and I think y'all will make it, but don't tease yourselves with the idea of going to the final four.

I can't argue with that. UK and UF are givens. UT and Bama return a lot if I'm not mistaken. The rest, while they can end up in the top 25, have too many unknowns at this point, including MU.

Pretty sure LSUFreek was joking when he said that.

I said NCAA tourney. Not final 4. That's in 2014/15

My bad. Skimmed the comments and thought this was referring to the final four comment.

Given the promise LSU showed this year plus the talent coming in I'll be disappointed if they don't make the tourney. Kentucky should be sick next year.

Know how I know you're stupid? Anderson's first class was #7 at Arkansas, in the final rankings.

LSU's class has already dropped to #10 on ESPN and #9 on 247 with many more commits to come before NSD is over.

So what you're saying is its' still top ten? Ok

I've looked at Rivals, Scout, and 24/7. None list Arkansas anywhere close to the top ten in 2012. I consider that his first class since most of your commits had already signed for 2011 when he was brought on.

For now, what I'm saying is a class rank with recruiting season still right in the heat of things, and the fact that you've dropped 3+ spots on the 2 updated sites 247 and ESPN, means you won't be Top 10 when recruiting is over, which is all that matters.

2011 was Anderson's first class, #7, congrats on a worse class than Arkansas. Final Four! Right?

Now Anderson is bringing in another Top 15 class potentially Top 10 this year.

Woopty doo. Doesn't mean shite, but you keep thinking that Top 15 class for LSU in year 1 = tourny success, just shows your lack of basketball knowledge which as an LSU fan, is about right. Still can't get an LSU fan that posts on here frequently to avi or sig bet that LSU is in the NIT next year, all talk.
