Record to win the SEC(baseball)

Last year we won at 19-11 but the two years before 21-9 and 22-8 won it. I think this year with LSU, Vandy, and Arkansas the winner will be 22-8 like '10 and '11. 20-10 is usually the benchmark but those three are really good this year. What do you all think?

LSU and Vandy don't play each other, and Georgia, Mizzou, Auburn, and Florida are really bad. Both teams will rack up wins against those clubs.
22-8 is what I think, but I'm comfortable in saying 20-10 will not.

Same. Also, I wouldn't be shocked to see someone win it with a ridiculous 24-6/23-7 type record. Has that ever happened?

SC in 2000 went 25-5, don't even think about trying to break it

I'd imagine that will be near impossible to beat. Tie, maybe, but I don't know about beat.

LSU and Vandy would have to play below .600 baseball to win it at 22-8. Even with white hot starts, you're talking about losing at least 2 series and I just don't see that barring a major injury issue.
Whoever wins the series next weekend is in a commanding position in the West. If LSU wins the series, you're looking at a 13-2 conference record and I doubt anyone runs them down. If Arkansas wins 2/3, its either team's to lose leaving Fayettnam...

We'll drop a series to someone we shouldn't, like 'Bama or aTm.

If LSU can get out of Fayetteville with 2/3 then I think 25 wins is very realistic.

All three of U La La's starters, and their closer, played in the majors.
We need to give them credit - they came in and beat us fair and square. Our regional and super regional that year was as tough as it gets.

And LSU won the NC that year. Be glad to settle for the same results.

Not really. Arkansas would have to sweep LSU just to tie them in the West.
