Should have some guys returning next year from being injured this year, plus whoever we sign in recruiting.

I'm gonna say 15-19 wins. Maybe NIT berth. We should win more OOC games and hopefully turn those few close SEC losses into wins.

I'd say close to an overall .500 record and an 8-10 SEC record.

Depthwise next year we should be a hell of a lot better. Just looking at our guys(In no particular order of depth chart)

F/C:Gavin, Wendell, Ndoye
F:Colin, Rocquez, Daniels
SG:Chicken, Fred, Jalen, Applewhite
PG:Bloodman, Davis, Ready

Which is a hell of a lot better than 6-7 guys and 2 walkons. We won't have to Maui and get our butts handed to us there, and while we won't get the benefit of playing South Carolina twice we also won't have to play Florida twice. 15-19 is easily feasible.

You need 20+ wins now a days to get into the NIT

15 wins and many moral championships. We gonna party regardless. It's gonna be like when you were on a too long drought and you make eye contact w/your bro trying to sneak out the bar w/ a thick one (by thick I mean fat). You just give a satisfying head nod and go handle your business.

I think 15 should be the minimum with 7 or 8 SEC wins. Depending on how the team comes together, we could see more than that, but I know one thing, they will be an exciting group to watch.

16-18 wins

We will still be a really young team. Of our 3 Sr's- only one will start- Borchert- with Steele and Lewis coming off the bench.

Expect the same effort with a full roster and a little more experience. 16-18 wins in 2014

Looking at that depth gives me hope. One good thing about this year was so many guys got quality experience.

First, the SEC as a whole will be a lot better next year. They are adding quality recruits. To say that we will have more depth and due to that we will win more is slightly flawed.

For example, Bama returns everybody but steele and adds 2 great recruits.

Second is how well do our ACL injuries heal up.

Third, who will come in and be ready to play at a level to compete right away.

4th.... how many ACL injuries do we have next year??

I'd wait until declaration day has passed. Is Releford going to return to Bama for sure? Caldwell-Pope is leaving I'm sure. What about Johnny O at LSU? A&M loses far and away their best player in Turner. Auburn lost their best player

Davis and Applewhite will be 15 months post-op when the season starts- they should be 100%. Wendell will be 11 months and should be fine. Steele wasnt going to start anyway- so he will be a good bench addition after Christmas

Davis and Applewhite should be after redshirting. Ready should be fine getting back-up PG minutes. The juco should be fine with back-up minutes as well.

How much everyone else will get better won't be comparable to how much we get better. Once we got into SEC play we had less players than most teams had scholarship players. Tyson Cunninham averaged what, 20 minutes a game? He'll probably average 5 or less this season. We'll have more than one center so we won't have to go in sets without anyone over 6-7. We can actually afford to put out a big set this year.. We'll have more than one point guard so our offense will be a lot more fluid. Other than Kentucky(who we didn't have a chance against anyway) and their fab 6(or 7 if Wiggins commits) no team in the SEC is making strides as big as we are to improve.

Could be.

Should be? Not everybody returns from ACL injuries as they were. Though we have come a long ways, it does not mean that they are they same. They could have a loss of speed, agility, etc. Using MSU recent players... Robert Elliot. Does anybody here really think that it did not hurt him as a RB?

Does not even make sense. If they were injured, they were not playing/practicing. Redshirting them due to that only helps keep them eligible for another year. It's unknown at this point if they will return with all given abilities. We wont know that until they actually play.

Will say it once more, and then let it go. It's no fluke that we had this many ACL tears. Just isn't. Medically speaking... stats speaking. No need in propping that up. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and think that.

I will say I told you early on, and it kept happening. All the way to the end.

Explain to us what is causing these ACL tears to happen?

What could Ray do to prevent them?

We're not talking about Iowa runningbacks here. We shouldn't have 3 players out before SEC play starts this year.

It also doesnt mean they wont. Especially with them having extra time to get well. And you can bet this coaching staff and crew has pushed rehab on them hard. 15 months post-op to gametime is a good long time to be ready.

They werent sitting in a chair watching practice- I can assure you. They had drills they had to do just like everybody else. They also participated in the strength program with their upper body and good leg. The days of the injured just sitting around watching are over.

I'm going to say it was. Kinda like with our offensive line In 2010, our OL only had 1 injury. In 2011- we had 4. Then in 2012- we had zero.

2011 was a fluke- all the injuries were an abnormality.
