Basketball team on verge of Elite 8, top five recruiting class in football, baseball is early leader in the conference. It's been a couple of generations since these stars aligned.

Certainly one of the best years that I can remember

How can any SEC school have a "golden age" in athletics without an at least an apperance in an SECCG or maybe even a top 10 finish in FB? Really, basing their fb accomplishments off a recruiting class?
Kudos to their baskettball and baseball programs but let em at least get to a final four or a CWS

He's basing it off the jump we made in football and the direction our program is headed

You only had one way to go.
Call us when you are defending a title...it's gets harder, not easier as you improve.

I can't remember the UK athletic program ever having a year like Ole Miss is experiencing...

what tears? the ones from when my basketball team was thoroughly embarrassed by Bob Morris in the NIT or when my shite box football program won 2 games and was summarily dismissed as, yet again, a complete joke?

Ole Miss football is gonna be pretty good soon but hoops is gonna take a big drop off next season

I'll give them this much, they are exciting to watch in FB or BB. And I've never liked them before.
you'd be stupid to pull against them tonight, the SEC needs all the help it can get.
i'm already waiting around for this evening's game. hell, even Lebron was talking them up yesterday....

So, you just want to troll me?
At least Kentucky made a tournament, how did LSU do? Oh, wait....
The thread was not directed to UK's golden age (which UK was in the running for the Capitol One Cup last year)...but Ole Miss.
So troll on troll...troll on.

I believe we're discussing overall success of an athletic program, not just one sport. You seem bright.
