Per an Ohio State friend of mine:

They likely won't beat you by a huge margin, but when they're on top of their game they will grind you out. They like to slow the game down and execute out of the halfcourt. The pace of the game will make you think you have a chance to come back, but they have a tendency to just keep executing and win the game.

You have to play good halfcourt defense and you have to be strong on the perimeter to beat them. They will find the open 3 if you leave it available, and they will take it just about every time. And every player they put on the court can shoot 3's, even their big men.

Not to put too much stock in it but something to keep the hope alive is Florida beat them by 18 in November, and they only beat Ark by 7

Derek Millinghaus making that floater was the most anti-WAOM thing I've ever seen. Perhaps the tide has turned

Don't let them get you into that Big 10 grind it out bullshite and you'll be alright. They're not very efficient offensively but they can rebound.

Plain and simple, I think you have a better offense and enough to beat them on the boards too. Run their asses off the court.

Wisconsin opened -5.

I actually like our offense in the half court as long as their big men aren't able to neutralize Buck & Murph. Gotta like our chances if those two are effective and stay out of foul trouble.

i saw a stat somewhere that in all of Wisconsin's losses this year they shot terribly from the 3 point line so i guess they are like us in a way that they live and die behind the arc. We have to contest every 3 point shot which we don't do sometimes. Murph and Reggie have to play huge in the paint like they did against florida too.

Also... haven't they had a history of choking in the NCAA's against teams like us with good guards that shoot them out of the game? I could be making that up.

We aren't good at contesting 3-pt shots
