Can we make this the official thread for all spring practice news, as well as pictures?
Because...

Cyrus Jones, Christion Jones and Dee Hart were new additions to the Alabama secondary at today's practice, the first of the spring. Cyrus Jones, a sophomore, and Christion Jones, a junior, were wide receivers last year. Hart, who has torn his ACL twice during his Alabama career, was a running back.

Also, Dickson is at DE instead of LB

That leaves, what, 4 healthy WRs for spring practice?

A. Cooper
K. Bell (maybe?)
D. White (maybe?)
K. Norwood
C. Black
Any others?

Falkins but Norwood is out with injury. Bell should be good to go but I'm guessing White is still limited

Forgot about Falkins. I'm really excited about seeing a healthy Chris Black.

Done.
Interesting that Christion Jones is at db. Not too terribly surprised about the other guys.

I wonder if Jones at DB means that we have a better option at slot WR? Who would it be?

Im willing to bet they will be back at there original positions. Dont know why we would move someone soo productive as Christian anywhere.

Cyrus might stick but guessing Chris will be back at WR by A Day

I always associate a position change like this a sign that the player hasn't panned out.
Have we had a player switch from O to D and get drafted, or stand out?

What's news?
- We already addressed it with a quick post, but Alabama has a slew of new defensive backs. Wide receivers Cyrus Jones and Christion Jones and running back Dee Hart were all working with the group during today's open period of practice. It should be noted that Christion Jones was wearing a white jersey, which indicates he'll likely be seeing work with the offense, too. Hart, who tore his ACL for the second time last year, wore a black, non-contact jersey.
Other observations
- As we also mentioned in a quick post, junior Xzavier Dickson was working with the defensive line. The former outside linebacker was a regular fixture on the Crimson Tide's first-team defense last season. He finished with 33 tackles, 5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks.
- Also in black, non-contact jerseys were WR DeAndrew White (knee), RB Jalston Fowler (knee) and LB C.J. Mosley (unknown).
- CB John Fulton and WR Kevin Norwood worked off to the side because of their respective toe injuries. Fulton wore a protective boot on his right foot while Norwood had a cast up to his knee on his left foot.
- WR Kenny Bell doesn't look like someone who broke his leg four months ago. He looked full speed to me.
- We'll likely have a later post on this, but here are the numbers for Alabama's early enrollees: RB Derrick Henry (3), QB Luke Del Rio (14), QB Parker McLeod (15), QB Cooper Bateman (18), TE/HB O.J. Howard (88), OT Leon Brown (72), OT Brandon Hill (73).
- One other number switch we noticed was NG Brandon Ivory, who is now No. 99.
- We knew it would be like this coming into today's practice, but it was fascinating to watch Alabama get all eight of its quarterbacks repetitions. They divided into four groups of two: AJ McCarron and Blake Sims; Alec Morris and Phillip Ely; Bateman and Del Rio; and McLeod and walk-on Edward Aldag.

Also, Raheem Falkins is #80 (Shinn's old number)
Jai Miller - #19
Dalvin Tomlinson - #54 (Jesse's old number)
