Who is Auburn's starting quarterback in 2013?

I'm going to roll with Nick Marshall, I think we got a steal in him late in the recruiting cycle. I don't think Gus Malzahn took a risk on this guy for no reason. His Junior College highlights show off his running ability pretty well, although I'm not too sold on his passing ability yet. I think he could fit well in the offense. Jonathan Wallace ending last season as the start should have no bearing on this year's starter since we are going back to the power spread. My only fear is that he ends up like Randall Mackey and Brent Schaeffer (which is crazy considering both went to Ole Miss and flopped as quarterbacks).
1) Nick Marshall
2) Jonathan Wallace
3) Kiehl Frazier
4) Jeremy Johnson (redshirt)

How does nick Marshall go from throwing 20 interceptoins in JUCO to the starting quarterback? He had more picks than TD's in JUCO. I dont buy it

quote:He was put in a lot of bad situations. They lost one game something like 84-13, and their defense allowed roughly 39 points per game (something like that). He was forced to pass when the other team knew it was coming, and a lot more than he should have. And yes, I am still skeptical of his passing ability, but he can run like a son of a bitch.

I would like to see what he can do in Gus Malzahn's offense...

Anyone else feeling a concentrated White Cam-esque campaign on the SECr for Nick Marshall?

I think we should do this May-August for each of the guys. We will have so many Cams playing QB nobody will know what to do next.

Frazier or Marshall.
You can't fault Frazier for having to play in that horrible offense last year. He played pretty decent in the opening game until Chizik started meddling. Similar to Trotter the year before. None will be dominate but only those two seem to have the skills to win big in the SEC. I don't think you can factor last year into anything - it was a cluster.
