Is he being projected by your staff to play QB or DB? I read that he was a DB at Georgia before switching back to QB at Juco. Where do you guys see him ending up?

QB, I would assume, we need depth

I believe he said himself that he would be a QB at Auburn. He was straight nasty in HS as a QB. Shows how bad Tech sucks that he wound up a DB at UGA instead of a Qb at Tech (which would have made him a colossal pain in the arse to handle in that offense)

Yeah I was watching highlights of him earlier and he looks like he will fit in well in Malzahn's offense. I just didn't know which position he preferred.

I'm excited to see what Malzahn will do with him

He'll play QB. Auburn got a steal.

His TD:INT ratio was impressive.

You'll have a lot of interceptions when your defense gives up 80 points to the opposing community college.

It's gonna be up to Malzahn and Lashlee make Marshall an top-flight SEC-level passser... all in about a three month period.
There's no doubt the guy has amazing athleticism -- good size, great speed and quickness, live arm -- but the >60%(even at the GA 1A high school level) and large number of INTs (19 in JUCO, 15 as a high school senior) suggest he's gotta a lot of room for improvement.

I wouldn't even say he has to be developed into a top-flight SEC-level passer.
If he can break down defenses with his athleticism like we hope he can (a la Cam, but smaller, but FASTER), then the passing game will open up for him. In other words, I don't think he's gonna have to thread the needle very much (i.e. top-flight), just hit the open man (adequate-to-good).
