I really, really want to know, just where in the LIVING HELL do these kids get the money for these cars?

Not just Bama players. Football players all over.

Shiny new cars. Wheels that probably cost more than my Mazda3. Tatts all over their body.

This is not cheap shite, no?

P.S. Since I'm pretty sure these pictures were taken off of a public web-site, I don't think there's any link at all to any kind of Operation Red Dog bullshite.

Maybe some of them have money to buy cars since they are getting free tuition, food and a place to live? Not every football player's family is dirt poor. Also some of those SUVs in those pictures appear to be very old models.

I think realistically, they probably get a little under the table help...and that goes for all schools. That said, I knew people in college that had scholarships and who still qualified for student loans and credit cards. They would use their loans to buy all sorts of crap like that and graduate in loads of debt.

I saw the screenshots and I don't like it one bit. The Hot Wheelz Facebook page had these pictures with the players names and football numbers listed. I'm not worried but I wish our fricking compliance staff was out in front of this instead of the fricking ITAT board. How hard is it to make these kids understand not to take fricking pictures like this for 4 years.
