Let's talk about e-cigarettes

Have you tried one? I'm a big fan, started getting the blu ones about a month ago and my smoking has dropped off exponentially. One e-cig is the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes, but it lasts much longer because you can just puff on it whenever. You're not stepping outside and puffing on one for 10 minutes like a normal cigarette.
The blus cost $10, but I can make one last for about 2 weeks so it ends up being cheaper. Not to mention healthier, and they don't make you smell bad. It's a pretty revolutionary idea and I can't wait til they make one for weed.

I still smoke real cigs too if I'm having a whiskey drink at the casino, but it's nice to have around if you're just chilling at the house and don't want to go outside in the cold.
Caramel at first, but I've gotten used to it.

I highly recommend them to heavy smokers. I'm a recreational smoker, and have pretty much stopped completely since no one I hang out with smokes anymore, but I have tried the e-cig and it was a surprisingly sufficient replacement for a normal cig. I may pick one up sometime just for the heck of it; wouldn't mind having one to puff on while winding down with a whiskey at night.
I'll let you know how it is; rec shops should be open here in CO in about 8 months.

I have green smoke. It's pretty decent. The only downside is having to order the cartridges, and wait 7 days for them to arrive. It works really well when traveling with the family.

Never smoked a cig in my life. I did meet a guy this weekend at a restaurant, started a e cig business a few years back, said his business is the no 3 in the market, selling it for 20 million this month. Huge market growth lately.

One of the biggest reasons for the boom is the ability to smoke it inside or in non-smoking areas because technically it's vapor, not smoke.

The disposables are just that, disposable, even if it says rechargeable.
If you are looking to replace cigarettes, or even come close, get a real one. The disposables give you about 20-25 real draws that feel like a cigarette. The rest are like puffing damp cardboard.
Also, the disposables are 12-16% nicotine and the real ones up to 35 +/- nicotine. The reusable ones produce copious amounts of vapor. The disposables, not so much.
I've used disposables in airports and train stations. Cover the lame light as you are drawing and hold the vapor in until it subsides. It beats going through TSA twice just to go outside to smoke during a layover.

I 100% agree with TopJimmy. I have not had an analog cig in almost two years. Tried the gas station brands about five years ago and it didn't go very well. I got serious about it and ordered a big ego battery and tank system with some juice and have not looked back. It was amazing how fast my senses of smell and taste came back. It only took a couple of weeks. The downside is I feel like I just traded one addiction for another, though not near as bad for me.
I know tl/dr.

So what's the best brand if I want to get a serious one and not the disposables?

I can't really say what the "best" brand is. It really gets into a personal preference type deal.
My vaping habit is drastically different than yours.
You mentioned a blu earlier and said it would last you about two weeks. I would knock one of those frickers out in about six hours. The setup I currently use is as follows.
Battery = Ego 1100mah
Tank = Vision mini Nova w/1.8 ohm atomizer
I know, I know, sounds like greek. It's the only way to go if you want to stop smoking analogs completely. You need to check out the ECF forums. They have answers for everything.
And yes, you can make a thc mixture to vape out of my listed setup, or so I have heard.

Just a warning though, if your going for the "real" cigarette look, the setup I listed is definitely not for you. Mine looks like the love child of a hookah and vibrator. So, not discrete.

Thanks for the info man.

Guess I'm not familiar with that one.

Saw it on Green Mountain at the Smoke Shop...about 2 bills.
Doesn't look like an e-cig or that vibrator you use
