As long as Saban is there with Smart, yes... SEC football season will always be a battle for second.. It is what it is.

The best 5-6 teams in CFB were in the SEC last year. You couldn't be more wrong, actually.

Pre season rankings and final results of recruiting say otherwise.

Yes, I have actually heard that they are working on a Crimson Tide Network with ESPN. I am actually against the network because I think the entire SEC should act as one but there is no denying that Alabama is the far and above the others in the conference so there is a demand for the Crimson Tide Network.

I hope the network doesn't cause the other teams to become even more less capable of competing.

Well. Alabama can't beat Kevin Sumlin... so I'm not sure what exactly you mean.

90 seconds and a bend-don't-break defense away from 3 of last 4

Now the rest of the SEC (minus the fluke with A&M) needs to step up

Yes and no. In 2012, on the field, there wasn't a gap between UA and LSU/A&M/UGA with a total point differential of 3. On the other hand this current 'SEC run' has become in fact become an UA run...imo.

Like I really do understand the hype of the SEC by the media is overblown. People giving Miss State and Mullen credit for anything is just absurd. Some people really thought State was a good team, and some actually thought they could beat Texas A&M this year. That is the where the ludicrousness of SEC dominance crosses the lines. But the top half of the SEC? Legitimate dominance. Alabama was in three games decided by less than a TD and was 2-1 in those games.

No, the top 8 teams in the SEC can beat the best team in any other conference.
